Directory Sync Manager Available in Group 4 Technology’s New Access Control Software

Tewkesbury, England, August 5, 2005 – Group 4 Technology offers Directory Sync Manager as an optional module in its new multiMAX security management system. Directory Sync Manager is a new module designed for larger organizations, which have a requirement to centralize identity information into an LDAP Directory or Microsoft Active Directory.

A full import of all user information from Active Directory can be downloaded into the security management system.

Directory Sync Manager is:

• Easy to use – Update user information easily on the server by using an Active Directory editor to enter a unique employee ID number.
• Frequently updated – Implement a Windows scheduled task to initiate a command file operation to update security management cardholder details from the Active Directory user information.
• Costs reduced – Customers, contractors and new employees no longer have to wait long periods of time for all the systems to be updated and access granted to the applicable areas.
