Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, February 4, 2008 – G4Tec (Group 4 Technology) has been awarded ISO 14001 certification
by the British Standards Institute (BSI), the only environmental standard recognised
worldwide. G4Tec is the first company in the security industry to be accredited,
demonstrating an innovative and forward thinking approach to the management of their
environmental risks, both now and in the future.
The ISO 14001 guidelines were introduced in response to a growing customer demand,
as purchasing decisions are now being influenced with the Environment in mind. Implementation
has delivered a number of practical benefits for G4Tec, including a reduction in
waste and efficient use of energy.
The BSI assessment report concluded that G4Tec is very committed to reducing environmental
impact and states that the extent in which G4Tec recycle waste is at a level not
witnessed before by the BSI Team.

and will ensure that the size of their environmental footprint is reduced.
