Group 4 Technology Wins Best Sub-Contractor Award
Glasgow, UK, March 20, 2006 – Mansell, one of Britain’s leading
construction services providers, awarded Group 4 Technology
(G4Tec) “Best Sub-Contractor
Award” for their Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) Job Centre Plus supply chain.
Mansell’s Senior Contracts Manager, David Lannigan, presented the award to G4Tec’s
Branch Manager, Brian Fallon, recently at G4Tec’s Glasgow office.
Founded in 1908 as a local building company, Mansell has grown to become one of
the UK’s leading construction companies in its own right. Two years ago it became
a subsidiary of Balfour Beatty, which is a world class engineering, construction
and services group with annual revenues approaching £5 billion.
Mansell is one of the major contractors involved in the delivery of the DWP’s Job
Centre Plus building refurbishment programme. The work will bring together job counselling
service and benefits claims support under one roof at some 600 locations throughout
the UK. As a member of DWP’s supply chain, Group 4 Technology are
providing Mansell’s
Scottish region with Integrated Electronic Security Systems
including automatic
access control, CCTV with digital recording, and fixed and mobile panic alarm facilities
at each location.
