Integrated Projects Division specialise in large-scale, complex installations requiring
a high degree of co-ordination with Construction / Refurbishment Contractors, Architects
/ Consultants and other Trade Contractors. The Integrated Projects Team also work with
specialist sub contractor sales partners for civil works, barriers, turnstiles,
etc. Using best of breed branded products, our system design engineers are able
to provide total “turnkey” solutions for large scale / multi-site systems.
Construction and M&E Services Design
G4Tec have been involved with providing Security Systems solutions to the construction
industry for over 25 years and more recently to contracts that have been part of
the Government Private Finance Initiative (PFI).
G4Tec’s Integrated Projects Division have many years of experience in working with
the Construction Industry. Our sales and system design engineers understand the complexities
involved in large Construction Projects and we are able to work closely with the
contractors to provide designs that meet the customer’s requirements and integrate
with the building and services designs.
G4Tec’s in-house design engineers can create layout and schematic drawings to illustrate
our designs and develop works programmes to indicate how our activities will relate
to the main works programme. Click on links in left column to see examples of drawing
layouts. The design engineers overlay symbols for card readers, cameras and detection
devices on the architect’s drawings to indicate where the security hardware will
be placed, to assist with co-ordination. Views provided by the cameras can be documented,
so the customer understands what areas are under surveillance. These drawings can
include perimeter fences, anti-terrorist road blockers, vehicle barriers, vehicle
gates and turnstiles for review by our customer and enable G4Tec to finalise the
design and specifications.
