Minimal Administration
Plantime systems keep administration to a minimum using the familiar Windows
interface on a stand alone or networked basis. This allows managers to view
records and generate reports at their desktop PC.
Data recorded on a Plantime system maybe exported to other software packages
including payroll and personnel.
Entry of staff data such as name, work calendar and department is simple and
intuitive. This allows customers to get their system up and running quickly and
efficiently.
Plantime has many automated features to minimise administration. The system uses
familiar calendar screens to show absence data at a glance. We have developed
Plantime to allow customers to enter adjustments quickly and efficiently
significantly reducing administration time.
All Plantime standard reports may be edited by the user to reflect their own
unique requirements. All reports may be quickly viewed on screen, printed to
hard copy or saved to file.
Ease of Use
Ease of use is a clear benefit to staff. They simply clock in/out using a token
which may be magstripe, proximity or smartcard technology. This allows a
customer to combine other functions such as ID and access control onto the same
card. The terminal shows up to date hours worked, attendance and outstanding
holiday entitlement.
Staff may be authorised to input their own absence reasons at the terminal to
streamline the administration.
Where absence is not justified or rules have been broken the system immediately
flags these occurrences for action.
Combine Time Recording and Absence Control
Plantime can combine time recording and access control with the convenience of a
single card.
The access control element ensures that only authorised staff are allowed into
controlled areas.
The system will report who has gone where and when and all transactions,
successful or not, are recorded.
A Powerful Management Tool
A Plantime system is a powerful management tool designed to give key information
about your workforce. The system provides a suite of standard reports covering
hours worked, absence and holidays. All reports may be scheduled to run
automatically to meet your specific requirements.
As working time legislation changes the user friendly reporting tool will make
sure that your reports provide you with information in a relevant form.
Plantime Software Editions
- Plantime Professional Edition provides a complete Plantime solution for all
systems requiring up to 9 PC workstations. Any number of Plantime Active
Terminals can be connected. The system uses the Microsoft SQLServer Database
Engine (MSDE2000) and provides data storage of up to 2Gb.
- Plantime Enterprise Edition contains all of the features of Professional
Edition. There are no limits to the number of PC workstations and the amount of
data that can be stored. The Plantime Enterprise Edition database uses Microsoft
SQLServer 2000.
Web Access
Plantime system administrators can access the system using a web browser when
the system is configured to use Microsoft Terminal Services.
