Time Recording Terminals
Plantime Systems may be configured to suit all sizes of organisations. From
small stand alone solutions to large multi site applications. This can be
achieved with a combination of hard wiring, Local Area or Wide Area Networks and
conventional telephone lines using industry standard connectivity.
As an additional benefit the Plantime Active Terminals operate as intelligent
Door Controllers to provide an integrated Time & Attendance and Access Control
System.

Plantime START
System Configuration
The system configuration allows connection to a local printer or alternatively
the START terminal can be connected to a PC, which allows the START terminal's
data to be copied and saved in text format. If the PC option is selected reports
can be saved and printed using a conventional word processing package.
Plantime START - Features & Benefits
- Each employee registers arrivals and departures at the clocking terminal.
- The START terminal processes the clockings and applies the rules programmed by
the system operator.
- Worked hours are calculated and displayed to each employee as they clock in or
out or make an enquiry.
- Each employee can view: - Hours worked - Exceptions incurred - Overtime
- By using a pin number the system operator can access the system to undertake
reporting functions and employee administration tasks.
- The START terminal contains a power supply with a standby battery in the event
of a mains failure.
Reporting
- The START system provides up to 10 user definable reports.
- Day to day activity for each employee can be monitored showing hours worked,
absence, overtime and any exceptions incurred.
- Reports can be scheduled for a specific date or run at set intervals.
- Reports can be output to a local printer or using the START + PC utility can be
saved as a text file.

Plantime ACTIVE TERMINAL
The Plantime Active Terminal incorporates a range of employee identification
technologies and can be configured for local or wide area network operation.
Plantime ACTIVE TERMINAL- Features & Benefits
- The terminal display shows up to the minute details of employees time accounts.
- Uses either Magnetic Stripe, HID Proximity Cards, Key Fobs or Smart Card reading
technologies.
- Can be connected to Customer IT Networks to minimise direct cabling.
- The Plantime Active Terminal allows employees to clock in and out and display
their hours in an easy to read format.
- Employees who are authorised to use the Absence Reason function at the terminal
have their hours adjusted automatically by the system.
- The Plantime Active Terminal has a Cross Clocking facility allowing employees to
clock in / out at different locations.
- Where the system is to be used for local or wide area network operation the
intelligent terminals ensure the greatest degree of system resilience
