The G4Tec multiNODE Business Controller is designed exclusively for use with G4Tec's Symmetry Business access control software. The combination of the G4Tec Business products provides an extremely cost-effective and powerful integrated access control and security management solution for applications of either 2 or 4 reader configurations (maximum 16 doors) and up to 1,000 cardholders per G4Tec multiNODE Lite controller.

The G4Tec multiNODE Business controller is available in both 2- and 4-door management configurations and features a standard RS232 port for PC or modem connections (TCP/IP support available as option). Either configuration provides 4 general-purpose supervised inputs, each capable of 2-, 3- and 4-state operation.

Additionally, the G4Tec MultiNODE Business controller has either 2 or 4 auxiliary outputs, depending on which configuration is used, that can be used for alarms bypass or other applications.

Optional capability enhancement products for the G4Tec MultiNODE Business controller include the:

• Reader Interface Module (RIM): allows the door monitor/exit request inputs and the lock release/bypass relay outputs to be locally terminated.
• Wiegand Interface Unit (WIU): enables connection of readers using a standard Wiegand electrical interface.
