Edge Network Video Server (ENVS)

G4Tec’s Symmetry Edge of Network Video Servers (ENVS) provide a flexible video management hardware platform, featuring high quality MPEG-4 video encoding the ENVS supports standard analogue cameras, plus offers seamless integration with G4Tec’s range of security management products.

Utilising an innovative store and forward capability, network storage and bandwidth is optimised as data is stored at the edge of the network and forwarded over the network only when required.

With up to 160GB of storage, activity can be stored and forwarded on demand allowing for archiving to take place at off peak times. This provides the scalability and flexibility to meet the demands of applications of all sizes while reducing the network bandwidth required during peak operating times.

Using event based recording capabilities, video can be stored on any event, triggered from an access control or intrusion system.

All settings can be adjusted for individual cameras to react to pre-defined triggers or on a timed basis. This provides an unparalleled level of security integration for any organisation and dramatically reduces the video storage requirements.
